As customers of Ceramicist Charlotte Morrison, Charlotte may hold some information about you (your name, email address, and in some cases, your postal address and telephone number). This is a short note setting out everything you could ever wish to know about how Charlotte collects, uses and stores this information. • IMPORTANT NOTE: When we talk about "information", we are only referring to your contact details. We never have access to your financial information when you make payments using PayPal, iZettle (during selling shows or online shopping), or bank transfer. All sensitive financial information is held securely by the processing companies, and they never share this with us, or anyone else.

How/when your information is collected:

Charlotte uses Mailchimp to manage her mailing list, and you can sign up for our newsletter here. You will only ever end up on this mailing list if you have signed up for the newsletter, or if you have specifically asked Charlotte to add you to it.

Whenever Charlotte sends anything to you, if you have bought a piece of her work for example, and you give Charlotte sufficient information about you to enable me to process this.

When you purchase Charlotte’s products directly, at a face to face events, she may use the payment service, iZettle. Your information will be collected to the extent necessary to perform these services. For the iZettle Privacy Policy, please find it here

The website provider Charlotte uses is; Squarespace. They provide her with the online e-commerce platform that allows her to sell her products to you. Your information is stored securely by Squarespace when an order has been placed. For the Squarespace Privacy Policy, please find it here

Who has access to your information:

In a nutshell, just Charlotte! She is the only person who ever has access to your information, and she never, ever, ever pass this on to anyone else (including other businesses).

Charlotte uses MailChimp as a way of managing Charlotte’s mailing list, and your details are also stored on their servers (click the links to find out more about their Privacy Policy and Terms of Use).

How Charlotte uses your information:

Charlotte uses your information, if you have given consent for it to be used though a transaction, such as a sale of work.

Charlotte sends out regular newsletters to those who have signed up to the mailing list to receive information about her as a business. This is the sort of thing you can expect to receive:

• dates for your diary involving events and special offers.

• information about what's happening in the Charlotte Morrison calendar 

• Occasionally special features on artists and craftspeople and events Charlotte has a connection with.

How your information is stored:

Mailchimp hosts details of all members of Charlotte's mailing list on their secure servers. Charlotte may keep a copy of information on her secure (password protected) laptops.

Information that is passed on by paper format, is transfer to a secure laptop and destroyed after use. For example if Charlotte has had to take your details to process a sale or transaction.

charlotte-morrison.co.uk contains links to other websites. However, this privacy policy only applies to this website, and doesn't cover other sites that it links to. Charlotte is not responsible for the privacy policies or practices of third party websites.

Your rights:

You can ask Charlotte at any time what information she holds about you, and she will give you full details free of charge within 30 days. You also have the right to ask that your details be deleted, amended or transferred. If you ever change your mind about what information, if any, you want to be held on your behalf, just contact Charlotte.
